
Dr. Allen Bowns
Dr. Bowns opened Johns Creek Dental Care in September of 1995. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida, and moved to Norcross in 1980. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida before pursuing his D.M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia.
Today, Dr. Bowns lives in Cumming with his wife, Victoria, and their four fur babies. Together, they have four beautiful children and are proud grandparents to four grandchildren. Dr. Bowns is a charter member of both the Johns Creek Business Association and the Rotary Club of Johns Creek. He also serves at First Baptist Cumming as a Deacon and member of the finance team, sings in the choir, and teaches in the FirstKidz program.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bowns enjoys announcing football and basketball games at East Forsyth High School and North Forsyth High School. He is also the proud owner of a certified therapy dog, Choco. In his spare time, he can be found coaching youth basketball and soccer or relaxing on the lake.
Dr. Bowns’ chairside manner is second to none, and his greatest goal is for every patient to leave feeling like they’ve found a friend in him.

Brianna
Brianna is the Administrative Office Manager at Johns Creek Dental Care, serving the team since 2024. She was born and raised in Cumming, Georgia, and earned her degree in Business Management from the University of Kentucky in 2022, followed by a Master’s in Microbiology from the University of Florida in 2024. When she’s not at work, Brianna loves spending time with her wonderful nieces and nephews, relaxing on the lake, reading a good book, and enjoying football and basketball. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels valued, heard, and receives the highest quality of care.

Michelle
Michelle joined the team at Johns Creek Dental Care in January of 2022 as the Clinical Office Manager. She has been in the field of dentistry since 1988, where she began her career as a receptionist, then learned to be a chair side dental assistant, where she remained until she obtained her degree in Dental Hygiene. Michelle Graduated in 1989 from Dekalb College and began her dream of being a dental hygienist. In 1990, she married her husband, Joey who retired from the Board of Education where he served as deputy superintendent. They have two beautiful daughters, Lydia, who is an RN in the Emergency Department at Northside Forsyth and Caroline, who is a junior in college, majoring in childhood education. In her spare time, Michelle loves to sing. She is the Director of the children’s choir at her church, she serves as the Administrator for the North Georgia School of Gospel Music, and is a member of the Johns Creek Rotary Club. She and her family love to travel. With over 30 years of experience, Michelle is eager to help you meet your dental needs.

Bente
Bente started with Johns Creek Dental Care as a dental hygienist in December of 1996. She was born in Canada, but grew up in Southern California. She is blessed with three beautiful children. Her oldest son is a Veteran of the United States Marines and her youngest son is currently a United States Marine Pilot. Her lovely daughter and son in law reside in Woodstock with her grand dog, Watson. Bente received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lanier Tech in 1996. She enjoys walking and hiking with her Great Dane, cruising, crafting and hanging out with friends. Bente has many years of experience which leads to excellence as she truly cares about her patients.

Nicole
Nicole is a dental hygienist and has been with Johns Creek Dental Care since 2025. She is from Buford, Georgia, and graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and finding new places to explore. Her gentle approach and caring spirit help patients feel at ease during their visits. Our office is brighter because of Nicole, and her dedication to excellent care shines through in everything she does.

Leanna
Leanna began working with Johns Creek Dental Care in June 2002 as a dental hygienist. She is originally from Arkansas. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Oklahoma Christina University and an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Perimeter College. She is married to her best friend Jay, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Katelin and Abby. Leanna gives 100 percent to her patients and their care and she looks forward to seeing you soon.

Melissa
Melissa is a native of Forsyth County. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lanier Technical College in 2002 and began working for Johns Creek Dental Care as a dental hygienist at that time. She married Spence in November of 2011 and they have 4 children. Melissa is an amazing hygienist and has the most calming spirit about her that allows for a wonderful dental experience.

Sarah
Sarah joined our team in 2016 and works at our front desk. She grew up in the U.K. and is married to Randy, and they have 2 wonderful sons and is mom to many cats. She is active in her church and loves to paint, craft, hike, cook, entertain and travel. Though she grew up in the U.K., she is now a proud Americian as she gained her citizenship in 2022! Sarah is often referred to as the face and voice of our office. We are grateful for the level of excellence Sarah brings to our team.

Kasey
Kasey joined Johns Creek Dental Care in 2023 as a Dental Assistant. Kasey grew up in Cumming, GA and has lived in Georgia her entire life. She has a sweet cat named Carol and she enjoys going to Musicals, arts and crafts and fine dining. Before coming into the field of dentistry, she was a caregiver for 10 years to the elderly and disabled. She currently resides in Alpharetta. Kasey is eager to greet you with her beautiful smile and make sure your dental experience is a pleasant experience.

Sharon
Sharon works at check in and joined our team in 2022. Sharon has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and we are so fortunate that she is with us at Johns Creek Dental Care. Sharon has 2 beautiful children, a granddaughter and some grand pups. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Sharon has a smile that is contagious, and she is eager to assist you and your family.

Choco
Visiting the dentist can sometimes feel stressful, but having a therapy dog like Choco in the office can make a big difference. Therapy dogs help patients feel more relaxed, reduce anxiety, and create a calm, welcoming environment. Whether it’s a gentle paw, a wagging tail, or a friendly snuggle, Choco helps make dental visits less intimidating and more enjoyable for patients of all ages. Spending time with a therapy dog can make dental care a more positive experience, helping everyone feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.
