
Dr. Allen Bowns
Dr. Allen Bowns opened up Johns Creek Dental Care in September of 1995. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida and moved to Norcross in 1980. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and got his D.M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. He currently lives in Cumming with his wife Victoria and their 4 kids. He is a charter member of the Johns Creek Business Association and the Rotary Club of Johns Creek. He is a Deacon at Cumming First Baptist Church and serves on the board of The Place of Forsyth County. He enjoys coaching youth basketball and soccer and spending time on the lake with his dogs.

Judy
Judy has been the Office Manager for Johns Creek Dental Care since June 1996. She grew up in Alabama and received a degree in Psychology from University of South Alabama. She has two daughters, one son, three grandsons and one granddaughter. She especially enjoys vacations at the beach, reading and spending time with my family and friends.

Bente
Bente started with Johns Creek Dental Care as a dental hygienist in December of 1996. She was born in Canada, but grew up in Southern California. She is blessed with three beautiful children. Both her sons are Officers in the United States Marine Corps, and her daughter resides in Atlanta. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lanier Tech in 1996. Bente enjoys walking and hiking with her Great Dane, cruising, and hanging out with friends.

Kelley
Kelley is a dental hygienist and has been with Johns Creek Dental Care since September 2001. She is a lifelong resident of Georgia and is married to her high school sweetheart. She has three grown children and she enjoys ballroom dancing, boating and hanging out with her two wonderful grandchildren.

Leanna
Leanna began working with Johns Creek Dental Care in June 2002 as a dental hygienist. She is originally from Arkansas. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Oklahoma Christina University and an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Perimeter College. She is married to her best friend Jay, and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Katelin and Abby.

Melissa
Melissa is a native of Forsyth County. She received her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lanier Technical College in 2002 and began working for Johns Creek Dental Care as a dental hygienist at that time. She married Spence in November of 2011 and they have 2 children. She also enjoys spending time with her 2 stepchildren.

Jean
Jean is a dental assistant. She is originally from St, Louis, MO and has two beautiful daughters. She started with Johns Creek Dental Care in January 2009. She received her certification in Dental Assisting from Allied Medical College (St. Louis, MO) in 2000. She also received an additional certification in Expanded Duties from Lanier Tech in 2005. She enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Jeanine
Jeanine is a longtime family friend of Dr. Bowns, and was inspired by him to become a dental hygienist. She started her career in Cumming as a pediatric hygienist and been with Johns Creek Dental Care since March 2016. She and her son Wyatt live on Lake Lanier and enjoy spending time outside. She also enjoys crafting, going to Wyatt’s sports games, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah
Sarah recently joined our team in 2016 and works at our front desk. She grew up in the U.K. and is married to Randy, and they have 2 wonderful sons. She is active in her church and loves to paint, craft, hike, cook, and travel.

Ansleigh
Ansleigh joined our team officially in 2017 and she works at the front desk. She grew up in Cumming, GA and graduated from the University of North Georgia with a degree in Business Management in 2017. She married Derek in September of 2018 and enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Lonnie.

Amy
Amy started working at Johns Creek Dental Care in 2002 as Dr. Bowns’ assistant, since then she has changed to part time and usually is seen in at the front desk. She graduated from Georgia State with a Bachelors in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She spends most of her time with her family, and working for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in the Environmental Protection Division.
